A Mermaid fan and manic mummy baker extraordinaire, you will probably recognise Ruth from the Great British Bake Off 2010, in which she was a finalist. Since then Ruth has continued to dedicate her time to her hugely popular blog, The Pink Whisk, as well as running her own baking and sugarcraft courses. 

Ruth is the go-to girl for baking advice, recipes and inspiration for the likes of BBC Good Food, Dr Oetker, Cadbury’s, Lurpak , Sainsbury’s and many more. Most recently she was the face of National Baking Week 2011 and was also winner of BBC2’s The Great British Wedding Cake 2011. Her book, The Busy Girls Guide to Cake Decorating is due out in April 2012.

Natalie has always had a passion for cooking and baking. In 2001 realising she had a burning desire to be a part of the food industry, and following a stint at Leith's school of food and wine in London, she then went on to work at Conde Nast's Easy Living Magazine, followed by five years on the award winning Sainsbury's Magazine, working with the likes of Delia Smith, Jamie Oliver, Heston Blumenthal and Nigella Lawson.

At the start of 2010, she then decided to take the plunge to create Estella Cupcakes. Since launching, her cakes have received much critical acclaim, appearing in publications such as Food and Travel magazine, Ideal Home, You and Your Wedding and Delicious magazine. Alongside her growing cupcake business, most recent projects include Jo Malone's Christmas 2012 shoot and Green and Black's, The New Collection chocolate cookbook.
